Side-Eye

What does side-eye mean?

Disapproving glance

Side:- eye is a disapproving glance. It is often directed at you when you do something wrong.

Side eye is perfected by mothers who can communicate disappointment to their kids with one look. The act consists of a sidelong glance that can sometimes be lethal to the recipient.

Example:-

"He gave me some side-eye that cut right to my core."

Do not make Cookie mad or she will side-eye you to death

Janky

What does janky mean?

Of poor or inferior quality

Janky:- is a term used to describe something that features poor quality. It is often used when comparing something bad to other similar items/objects that are much better.

The janky term is used to be critical and make fun of something, especially when used to describe a person. Other forms of the word include "jank" and "janky."

Example:-

"Did you see that janky car? The bumper was taped together."

Homeslice

does homeslice mean?

A close friend:- Homeslice is another term for a close friend, perhaps a BFF. It is often used when referring to or greeting a friend.

Homeslice comes from the "little slice of home" saying, which is used to describe something that is familiar and dear to your heart and reminds you of home. Some other terms for a homeslice include baffles, broseph, and bestie.

Example:-

"Why the glum face, homeslice?"

Twinning

What does twinning mean?

Saying or doing something in coordination with another person:- Twinning is when two people appear to be twins because they say or do the same thing. It commonly occurs when people wear the same outfit without planning or respond to a question in the same way.

Twinning typically occurs on accident which is why the term is often used in excitement. It is most commonly referenced by tweenager girls. It is similar to the twinsies term.

Example:-

"No way, I was just going to say that!!!

Twinning!!"
